A perennial bubble team that either sneaks in the NCAAs or plays NIT, but every 4th or 5th year they have a team that finishes in the Top 3 in conference and gets a decent seed in the tourney. And every 4 or 5 years, they have a team that doesn't make the post-season.

That's not the final destination, but a good short term goal.
