his greatest sin was being complicit with Babs on implementing "Big 10" academic qualifications for athletes when there was no such thing in existence and he didn't even bother to help confirm it. That set the program back about ten years.

His second biggest sin was trying to implement changes roughshod without communicating with fans and ticketholders who, what, where, when and why. He just said, we need to do it, so tough sh*t. Rather than rally support, he shoved it down fans' throats without any real discussion.
