experience in sports, in different areas of sports, and he has intimate understanding of the needs of Mizzou at the particular time. What first time AD knows all there is to being an AD? What underling in an AD is automatically a better candidate just because they hold a junior position in an AD? Unless God is your new AD, there's going to be a learning curve. No AD at another institution is going to understand the needs like JS. I think he would make a good candidate. Whether or not he would be the best remains to be seen.
