on not exempting the coaching position from the 30-60 day open solicitation. Cooper had a pretty good run at Ohio State after Mizzou said they couldn't hired him right away.

Further, she was under the impression that Big 10 football required the same academic admission standards for athletes as they did for regular students, which was patently false. So not only was Mizzou recruiting damaged by that, Mizzou's admission standards for athletes were already higher than all the Big 8 except CU. That just squeezed Mizzou recruiting even worse. And there was no apology when the mistake was realized during the Stull era.
