WRONG WRONG WRONG
Lots of coaches are seeing counselors/psychologists.
Lots of players too.
It's a common thing. Lots of people are trying to be better and do better.
Striving to do that is a good thing.
Childish reactions to negative feedback to the degree of leaving your team is INSANE. It's not the reaction of a big being. It's a little person. We're talking about little people here.
We'd like to see, as part of the life process, little people becoming big people, especially college students who are completing their formative years.
They have to know that highly negative, i.e. 'toxic' bosses and co-workers will exist out there. And you have to learn to deal with them effectively.
Running away is generally not the answer. Tattling to higher authorities is also not the answer. Tattling and expecting them to fire your boss is, in most cases, laughable.
So who is the most insane in this situation? Who knows.
But you certainly can't put it all on EE and say he's the one solely at fault.
And you certainly can't summarize the entire situation as 'simple', 'obvious', 'easy to understand'.
It's about as far from that as you can get...
