I did not know about #9, Shocking I didn't. It really is hard to believe that a University could be so ignorant to not know about Jennison's past (or just ignore it)? Although, you could say that about them continuing to use the name "Jayhawk". I get that the Bushwhackers were just as bad (although the Jayhawker's were the first to burn towns) in terms of lawlessness. The difference is we didn't name our university mascot after the Bushwhackers.
Somehow most Kansan's still glorify the abolitionist movement and John Brown and forget that he did a lot to spark the civil war and was hung for treason for his attack on Harper's Ferry.
Regardless, I will be freaking sick to my stomach if we somehow lose to these clowns.
