but it is an objective system that lays out exactly what each team needs to do each year. Having a committee of biased humans pick the teams in football will never work IMO.

I would rather have Missouri be told that they need to finish in the top six in the conference to get in the playoffs before or whatever instead of worrying about Arizona State or Oklahoma State’’s out of conference schedule and what it means to “the committee.”
