Way too much spending. Not nearly enough cuts. I like the idea of using Obama's last budget as the baseline for 2025 spending - no one can say that was not plenty of money. But there are certain realities to a government built on compromise and consensus. And, the need to make the tax cuts permanent is a great thing for our economy. It will indeed spur growth. And while there are promises to now attack spending, I have heard that for far too long.

This bill has some wonderfully conservative things in it. But it has way too much spending. There is no way around that reality.
