other conservatives on the board. Forgive me for not mentioning all of you.
What is you opinion of the Rs in both houses who are not satisfied with the BBBill?
Chip Roy and members of the freedom caucus, ron paul and others are not supportive of the bill. I get it, there is so much more that could/should be done.
But is it time for conservatives and sensible deficit hawks to hold their nose, swallow hard and vote for the bill?
Senator murkowski the pig from alaska, has her own agenda but for real Rs, is it ok for them to risk the tax cuts for the SALT or bigger cuts to the deficit?
Personally, i have all the respect in the world for ron paul and chip roy. But this game of chicken is imo, stupid and almost suicidal.
I think they want to make a generation's worth of changes in one bill. That would be great, no doubt. But it doesn't seem that it works that way. Take a big bite of the apple now. Take another in a few months.
It may take years and multiple republican administrations to get where we all want to go.
But imo, this is a big first step in what will be a long journey to drain the swamp, balance the budget and save the country.
