Because it is not. You can pay whomever whatever you want.

No one is going to enforce anything. The toothpaste is out of the tube...not going to put it back in.

It comes down to who has the richest donors that are willing to pay.

Very similar to MLB in that there is no salary cap, and spend whatever you want.

For all of you saying players deserve to get paid...well you got what you wished for. A complete mess...maybe it works in Mizzou's favor? I don't know, but many wanted this sh*t show and here it is.
