you have to have week to week games that are meaningful and some kind of equity in scheduling. You can't be playing teams that aren't in your "league". The NFL doesn't schedule junior colleges and high school teams and "count them" toward the playoffs. I'm fine if you want an NFL model for college football but then play the other teams only vying for the same you are. Don't play what amounts to exhibition games and say "we deserve a playoff berth because we beat Oregon State, Arkansas State and Boston College" even though those teams aren't "in our league". It is beyond absurd.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
