Thank you so much for the guarantee that I was wrong in my comment. You must have been in the meeting or something to know exactly what was or wasn't said. If she wasn't offered money and a spot then I think it was a mistake because her bat was a huge part of the season. As far as Shepherd, well a quick Google search confirmed she was indeed MIF and the announcement of her signing was shown with her at SS. I can be confident that this old man's memory isn't completely gone yet as I was positive she made appearances in the fall of 24 at SS. And THEN was slated to replace Crenshaw. Crenshaw was also a stand out SS if you remember before moving to catcher. I was under the impression that's what was happening with the Shepherd girl.
I am not a college coach as you must be since you know how it works and I don't. Again, thanks for setting me straight in your guarentee that I was wrong in my way of thinking.
