Maybe Crenshaw really wanted to play catcher and she was very good. I would prefer she play a field position, and possibly CF. Then move Abruscato to catcher, and Lenger to RF.
Three players I think that threw a monkey wrench into what could be ideal for the team. 1. Hay had a surprising season with a bad slump and injury. 2. Daly was good, but the team needed her to be great like Crenshaw. 3. Saniya Hill could have been a good bat in the lineup, but was injured.
I was surprised at our season. I never thought we’d have a losing record in the beginning of the season.
