Walker is surprising since I'm sure she was offered money to stay along with guaranteed playing time to stay in the lineup. Smith was a better 2nd than Wilhelm, but I don't think either of them for a fair chance b/c LA seems to be building her defense around Uptegrove and would take them out for her. It's interesting that Shepherd went into the portal. Wasn't she the standout SS that was slated to replace Crenshaw? I feel like I remember her being highly recruited for MIF, so I was surprised when they didn't use her there. Thurman didn't get an opportunity after she got a double and fielded one inning. Interesting to see what happens with them and I wish them luck!
