someone to avoid being taken into custody from a duly issued arrest warrant is a felony whether the warrant is for a civil or a criminal matter, no?

Additionally, obstructing an officer in the performance of their official duties, such as physically blocking ICE agents or providing false information, is a serious offense that can lead to fines and potential jail time.
Therefore, assisting an undocumented immigrant to evade arrest can be viewed as aiding and abetting a fugitive, which is a criminal offense.
