Women’s basketball was not very popular back in the early days. Even though Coach Rutherford had some success she had a last 10 years that was very similar to the past 25 years.
Like you mentioned Coach Harper is going to have to retain Missouri’s best players. She won’t get all of them, and she will have to find some players like Calip, and Franklin that became stars at Missouri State.
