Noticed that she spent a lot of time talking about the talent on her coaching staff. Interesting because it's something that previous coaches never or rarely did. We'll see if that translates into success. She seems to place an emphasis on player development, too.
The word "elite" came up a lot. Recruiting elite players, having an elite program, etc. I'll be curious to see if that happens because our program has never been elite. And she hasn't had what I would consider an elite program at any of her coaching stops. (Unless you consider making the tournament every year at TN to be elite.)
I'm wondering if she expects a quick turnaround, or if she thinks it will take 3-5 years to get Mizzou's program where she wants it to be.
At least we'll have something interesting to look forward to, for a change.
