I think even the grad transfer has been a bad idea

4 years is totally sufficient in my opinion. It’s embarrassing how few ‘grad transfers’ are making at kind of meaningful pursuit towards a graduate degree. Most of these are just guys who already graduated but still playing college ball and barely pursuing college. I don’t see the attraction of granting additional eligibility for that scenario at the expense of opportunity to actual college age players
