By comparison, we gave Gates a $25M buyout after a second-round blowout to a 15 seed.

Final Four @ NCST = $8M buyout
2nd round @ Mizzou = $25M buyout

Call it a "fluke run" all you like, but Keatts achieved something at NCST last year that Mizzou has NEVER achieved. And now he's out of a job, while 0-19 Gates is making $4M+ through 2029.
