seems there are four or so matters at play:
1. cease fire agreement with the reds
2. ukraine sovereignty
3. usa reparations, likely mineral rights
4. euro roll going forward, e.g. nato
for all our sakes, let it be successful even knowing that the russian thug putin cannot be trusted. he is under such economic pressure one would have to believe he has no choice but to capitulate. trump's role in part will be to give him a save-face-out, i suppose.
