Kroenke is coming into her own and gaining confidence. I also wish though she would get even more aggressive on offense. Many times she’s made a move around a defender and had a clear path to the bucket to either get a high percentage layup, get fouled or both, but wheels around and backs the ball out. When she gets half a step on a defender she needs to take it all the way.

And I think the team as a whole is gaining confidence and that fuels better play. It’s hard going into game after game in the brutal SEC and losing badly. Even though their higher level play hasn’t produced more wins yet, they have to be confident after the last 3 games.

Now, the LSU game Thursday is likely to get out of hand, but they have had several games where they let lesser teams hang around, and after the way we hung with Texas and Tennessee I have a little more confidence we might keep the game close. Morrow though is a beast, I think she’s going to have her way with us.

If nothing else though the following game at TAMU on Sunday looks much more winnable now. I still have a hard time seeing us get more than 3 wins in conference play. But at least they are making watching WBB enjoyable again.
