iPad hadn't been used since his passing in Sept. She gave it to me. First Apple product I've used since 1986 in HS computer lab.

I thought I'll try it out for watching movies on flights. I don't know how you Apple guys do it. On my Android phone, I just load movies on the micro SD card and open it with VLC Player. No dealing with iCloud and then having to download it from iCloud onto the iPad, not to mention only getting 5GB free storage on iCloud and no micro SD slot on the iPad either. Much rather have local than cloud storage. Is it all cloud bullshyt with Apple?
