I could have said that a little more clearly, mr. literal, but yeah I don't start looking after it turns green. I'm looking as I'm going. And it has saved me from no less than 3 tbones on major streets within a mile of my house in recent years.

And yeah, anticipating what other drivers are doing IS defensive driving, which is also good driving. Being a scaredy cat and not trusting yourself is not being a defensive driver. That's called a bad driver. You missouri guys...I tell ya
