People overreacted BOTH years. His first year was not

As great as some people hyped it up to be, and last year was not as bad as many people freaked out. Circumstances do matter.

I’m not going to say he has recruited the best players in Mizzou history, but so far he has recruited at a more consistently high-level then we have generally seen.

There are things about him to like, there are things about him to question, but there is generally a positive sign for the future.

As I have always said, he is not the guy I would have gone after to hire, but I see the positives in his potential and hiring him was not some sort of disaster.

But I also vehemently disagree with the notion that winning one game erases all past mistakes or questions. With any coach in any sport.
