gravel driveway so dust is a problem. But I'm the same, every 6 months. I just pulled the filter a couple of weeks ago and it was early June when it went it. So went through a really dusty dry summer and it probably was good to stay in longer. Still going to consider the electronic filter but I don't know if I can rig it up there.

Only run the fan constantly when it's in cool mode.
