He actually suggested the Frigidaire we bought, which did surprise me, since I felt the same as you. The Whirlpool was almost 20 years old before it gave out. He was adamant that Frigidaire model was the way to go. Of course if he sold a lemon to make another sale fairly quickly, fvck him, I'll go to a big box next time.
