Well run organizations will dominate for a relatively short period of time (a QB/coaches career), while others are just cashing checks.


If you have a Mahomes, Allen, or Burrow, you have a window, and you pay those guys. If you don't have one, and you're paying JAG $50-60m/yr because they play the position, you're pretty much eliminated from SB completion (see Dal/Jax & Mia, for example. )

If you don't have one of the big 3, you're better off with a qb on the rookie scale, like Hou or Was (and pay complimentary talent. )
