THAT would bankrupt the AD's.

1. Athletes become "employees"
2. People notice male athletes (especially in sports with both men's and women's, such as basketball) get paid more (because TV revenues, ticket revenues are more)
3. We have the same situation we had with women's USA soccer team;
4. Now we have bankrolled women's basketball to the tune of millions of dollars and a huge net loss for the AD.
