assuming that anyone who disagrees with you is a hypocrite, however.

I do also think it would be more fruitful to have a particular incident or law or whatever to discuss rather than to open a discussion by calling the person you are addressing a hypocrite. If I said something hypocritical, that would seem to me to be the best time to respond by pointing out where exactly any such alleged hypocrisy exists and why that is so.
