The MTSU was bad but I never once felt like we were going to lose.
K St was a coin flip but they are better than most of the teams we will play this year. Way better than BC who we replace them with.
The Memphis game wasn't that close. We outgained them by 200 yards even though we gave up 80 on a junk TD drive at the end of the game.
We beat Kentucky on their home field by 17 and beat them in every statistical category. There was nothing lucky about that game. Our loss to UGA was much closer than our win against Kentucky.
Fla game was fortunate. However, the LSU was every bit as unfortunate.
The big thing you fail to mention which is the most important component in compiling win totals is the schedule. Last year we won 11 games against a top 5 schedule this year we face a schedule that may not end up in the top 30. In non-conference we trade KSU, Memphis and MTSU for BC, Buffalo and Umass. We also draw the four lowest power rated teams in the SEC. We are currently favored in 10 of the 12 games. 9 of those games we are double digit favorites. I finally got the 9 I was waiting for and I took the over. If we do indeed lose four it will IMO take some very key injuries and some very bad luck.
