Sorry I'd have to take the under 9.5 wins for us this year

I do think we over-achieved last year, with a few more breaks going our way than against us. That and our kicker was great - 99% sure that won't be duplicated. Plus, we lost too much on defense, including the DC.
We did trounce AR, TN, SC. But consider:
Middle Tennessee was at 19-23 with the ball in 4th qtr after we gave them a safety - lucky that wasn't recovered in our end zone for a TD for them.
KState game was a toss-up that we won.
Memphis closed to within a TD in the 4th - their on-side kick failed
FL actually had us beaten nearly for sure, if you believe the probabilities
KY took the lead 21-20 in the third, but their three turn-overs to our one made the difference.
Ohio State: I'd argue we would have beaten them even had they had their second string QB, but who knows?
We were indeed competitive against GA and LSU, so maybe those games make up some of the 'luck' we got against these other teams we beat.
But to me, more breaks went our way than against us. Plus, we stayed pretty healthy at key positions. It would not surprise me to fall to 8 wins at all. I would be more surprised if we got to 10 wins in the regular season again. Hope on hope that I'm totally wrong!
