So you and the computers both agree that Kentucky's odds in a *single trial* were very good.
When people (including statisticians) talk about "luck", it's about things that involve chance. And when an improbable outcome occurs (1-in-4, or 1-in-10) the beneficiary of it is considered "lucky".
There's a lot of chance in sports – every shot attempt, every rebound, even the officiating.
That's why the same two teams can play each other multiple times in the same season, with drastically different results each time.
