why does Mizzou insist on hiring unproven head basketball coaches more often than not. Schools like Tennessee go out and hire proven winners with impressive resumes. Meanwhile, we gamble on has-beens and never-weres, often citing budgetary constraints as a reason we don't hire elite coaches. Well, how has that worked out for us?

Please explain why this message is being reported.
