automatically means he's going to be good as a head coach? I know multiple who were/are not. The head coach is the one who demands/gets results. Some guys can just get more out of players than others. My jury is still out on Gates. He was fortunate to have a couple of guys who could cover up deficiencies last year. Not so much this year. He's definitely got some showing me to do.
