to the attitude regarding Hiroshima. That's more evidence than the after-the-fact propaganda spread years afterwards trying to justify the morality of the first bombing.

We have declassified memos regarding the Soviets breaking the neutrality pact they had with Japan bringing up fears that what happened in Berlin would happen in Japan. We had a lot of motives to drop the bomb, I can assure you, the motive to "save lives" is low on the list.
