I would have to take time to read what others have suggested and understand their logic behind it.

I know around 9-11, they came up with some values basically to compensate those who died. the problem with that, a super rich person could just kill a poor person, and easily "pay" for it.

Then how do you put a restitution value on rape?

I am ok, but not thrilled, with some sort of imprisonment sentence, but it would be a huge step just to have laws against infringement and not "man made" crimes.

You do ask a good question, and sorry I do not have the details. Pickle could have some good reading material, maybe ummm
