property damage and would not meet the threshold for using deadly force.

Of course, even considering driving through a crowd to escape doesn't seem like the *intentional* use of deadly force, at least to me. At that point, I would be using it for transportation, not with the intent to kill or injure people. But apparently that isn't how the law views it.
