most teachers are not members. They may CLAIM to speak for me, they don't.

I do not need to oppose them, they have no sway in my classroom nor in my district. Where they have power is in DC and with the media. This is gaining them power in some districts, it is up to the parents in those districts to reign that in. Get rid of board members pushing this and make sure the administrators they hire know it will not be tolerated.
