Christianity is given a special dispensation regarding taxes - but so does Glaad and other organizations like that.
The only difference between the two then is what is happening in the current month.
I'll gladly concede that the same type of thing was happening with Christianity the first 200 years of its existence (which made sense since 75%+ of the residents "identified" as Christian. Now, Christianity is given no special treatment, other than it's treated like a charity regarding taxes. --And I personally am good with that, religion and Government don't mix. Sadly, people don't realize that there are new religions in this land and they are mixing it with Government now.
