money. Hell, just letting him eat in the training facility is a zero return proposition for that matter.
It’s arguably a waste (as has been argued with many players over the years) to give a scholarship to the 13th best player. He’s not even that. We know for sure there are 13 guys better than him. Majak made more of an impact last year. If Mosley is back, that’s 15. And since Stephens is a known shooter and preferred walk-on, he’s probably my better. He is, at best, #16 on the team. Probably #17.
And who knows about JVBrown.
That’s why this whole NIL instead of a scholarship talk is a complete waste. Spend all of that money getting eight studs, not trying to find guy number 16.
