you don't reveal the person's information to anyone without their prior consent to disclose. This isn't that hard. You can argue about whether kids should have a right to privacy or whether parents are entitled to know everything, but it's dubious, at best, to claim they have some "secret" agenda when it's everyday lawyer-speak for any number of things - medical records, financial information, social media platforms...and on and on.
