From a lab or whether it was chemical warfare by China against the rest of the world.
The little that we knew indicated conclusively, that the virus under the right circumstances, and for the right people was fatal. It was, I think, logical to assume mortality rates, among the very young as well. And some leeway should be given for trying to protect the very young from a disease about which little was known. Not even whether it was intentionally released by our biggest enemy, and most capable enemy on the planet.
We didn't know whether this was the next bubonic plague, the black death, or a virus equal to the Spanish flu in 1918.
But your solution, as it always is being an absolutist, as for the government of the greatest nation on earth to do absolutely nothing. To allow people to die, to not study the disease, to not attempt to inform people, to do absolutely nothing to save lives.
I think you believe you are very manly. The wild wild west, the Serengeti plain, all of that manly stuff.
You are not.
You're just another chimpanzee on this board. A higher grade than most, but still an absolutist with no ability to think beyond black-and-white. There are no shades of gray with you, there are no exceptions. Ever.
You are a fool.
