consider these points:

Should we have a military that never helps anyone at anytime?

Should we have a diplomatic corpse that works with other nations on projects and issues?

What if the homeland is not attacked as if it were the alamo, but attacked with chinese propaganda, chinese spies and chinese viruses? What should we do? Tariffs, expulsions, military attacks?

After pearl harbor, should we have done anything, since the japs left?

The criminal justice system should protect people's rights. Got it. Rights as determined and codified by who? Does the criminal justice system include cops? Who decides what the limits are on their behaviour? Must they enforce all the laws or can they be trusted to only enforce the good ones?

If government will allow anyone to live and work here, why bother to define what a citizen and non citizen are?

Is it possible that there may be some people who wish us harm like ... i dunno, the 9.11 terrorists? Should ANYONE be allowed in without us knowing who they are, where they came from and what their purpose is?

I know i'm asking a lot for you or any of those like you on this board to answer (not respond, answer) all those questions.

If you or other respond, i expect you'll cherry pick one question, parse it to infinitesimally small particles and then wordsmith an answer that you think "wins".

It won't.
