Look at how they are put nominated and approved.

The whole nomination process has become a series of litmus tests and nothing about the Constitution at all.

they mock them because they simply do not understand them. Most may want to get to no or limited government, but know it cannot be done overnight. Heck, I have proposed several solutions on how to get there in various forms.

But R and D each have their own issues that they desire/want government to solve them, even when it has now been shown thousands of times that whenever government tries to solve issues, it generally creates more and much worse problems. over and over and over....yet those that advocate for government to get out of the way are mocked.
