With Kobe coming back. That gives some of the younger guys a chance to be on a more competitive team and not be put into too big of a role too soon.

If this was the NBA and you could get a better draft pick I would say go into next season with Shaw, Pierce, Butler and 1 of Carter, DeGray or an unnamed big. You gain more experience and increase your chances with an elite 2024.
