point to very few, if any, guys transferring out.
3 guys can’t come back.
Kobe might just be done with college, but there’s virtually zero chance he transfers. He is a senior so under normal circumstances, he would be gone anyway.
Honor could also leave school, but can’t reasonably transfer again.
It would make zero sense for Carter to transfer again.
East can’t reasonably transfer again, and it would be completely illogical for him to do so when he stands to have such a major role next year.
Diarra isn’t likely to find a better educational opportunity and I believe the staff is expecting him to develop into a contributor next year.
It’s unlikely that Degray would have a better opportunity than he has here and he cannot reasonably transfer again.
Mosley can’t reasonably transfer again and if he buys in, he stands to have a much larger role next year. But he is a senior and he could decide he is simply done with school.
Shaw and Kaleb are the only two that have completely free reign on transferring after this year. It would be really disappointing if Shaw made that decision. Gates should help Kaleb pack if he wants to go.
3-5 guys each year was the norm even before the portal era. The odds are actually pretty decent that the only people we lose off this year‘s roster are the three guys that are out of eligibility.
