to what Pinkel did, any objective look at the facts shows Dan was the Man.
In his third year he had us playing for a National Championship. We were the winningest program in college football in the '60's never losing more than three games during the entire decade. Dan 'Quantrill' Devine took us to three Orange Bowls in his 13 years. He had only one losing season in his entire tenure as coach. 1970 going 5-6
Facts, not sentimentalism point to Devine. And btw, I'm a Pinkel fan.
