There used to be dem and republican. Right now there are people that believe in our democracy and people who are trying to tear it down. It's sad that's the state of dem vs republican, but it's true.

Some of my favorite politicians have been republican. Colin Powell. Arnold Schwarzenegger. The non-presidential candidate John McCain. Heck, even George HW Bush was decent in hindsight. Modern GOP calls them RINOs but that's because they've gone off the rails.

I don't think democrats are perfect. But right now they're the only ones trying to keep a functioning democracy or even casually trying to make arguments based on facts.
