I kinda get why republicans are furious over Trump search

I mean, if this was my candidate, I'd think that's pretty sketchy to do this in a way that singles out my candidate in a way never done before in history.

So keep that in mind as you're arguing with the GOP.

Where my patience runs a bit thinner is this:
1. Criticizing dems for politicizing the justice department. Trump politicized the entire government more than any other president in history, including the justice department. So their faux concern about the impartiality of law enforcement is well beyond hypocrisy.

2. Trump wanted this attention. He wants you to believe the government is weaponized against him and ultimately his supporters. There was no FBI raid in tactical gear waking Ivanka in her bathrobes at 5 am with guns pointed. As much as Trump wants you to believe that, this was just a search warrant. Trump wasn't even home and it wouldn't have even made the news if Trump hadn't publicized it (I'm sure it eventually would have come out just because people saw it, but again because Trump wants it out).
