nor is it entirely correct. Our founders knew the dangers of government as well as the necessity of it. They did a remarkable job of knowing the historical challenges of governmental overreach, predicting the future ones, and constructing a system that would most effectively retard the spread of the overreach. But, just as even those who stay fit and take care of their bodies may delay issues with aging, eventually the inevitable occurs.
Man's lust for power and control is undeniable. But the notion an absence of some form of government prevents it is foolishness as history shows the absence of some form of control only hastens the takeover by the most ruthless among the masses. There are no magic pills. Man is man and will eventually create issues based on the desire for power and control.
